So Peanut is a bit like P.P. Arnold, who also record in the UK. BTW: P.P.'s new EP Sings the hits! contains a beautiful cover of Tin soldier. On the Small Faces original she's doing the backing vocals, but onto cover (Top Gear 2-1-1968) she's doing the lead vocals, while the backing vocals are done by Madeline Bell and Dusty Springfield! I was supposed to go see them with my family somewhere on the South Shore of Massachusetts (Canton, I think? Doesn't matter) but the show was canceled for some reason and I never saw them. In 2002 I was London for a week and my bonus daughter Ivanka and I asked in every every record shop if they had I'll be there for you (theme of 'Friends') by The Rembrandts. None of them had. When we came back in The Netherlands Hans (another member of my record club) said: You should have asked before you went. I have 2 copies and 1 is for sale! Aargh. But Ivanka was happy.

@everyone - journalism is indeed under assault everywhere. I see it when I go to the UK, Murdoch's been trying to kill grownup journalism there as much as in the US. That's why I get all my news from infowars (jk). I've gravitated towards print/online news over the years, with some radio (love BBC radio). Easier to get perspectives from all over, whether you agree with them or not, and cheaper than paying a cable bill.
