I saw Jim Campilongo a few years ago, opening for Wilco at The Kings Theater in Brooklyn (he was actually a last minute sub for Bill Frissell, who was stuck in Canada because of a Blizzard. He was very good (but would Havre preferred Frissell).

i've seen some movies in vehicles, at drive-ins. 101 dalmatians...?...and my friends and i snuck into one a few times when i was a teenager (no vehicle). "the song remains the same" was one, but we got rowdy toward the end and got chased out.

In the series of official "bootleg" recordings he released near the end of his short life, dubbed Trail, Jimmy LaFave took the photographs for the covers, including long ago abandoned drive-ins. Poignant. RIP, Jimmy.

geezerette, I once seriously considered studying architectural history, formally, but soon recognized various skills lacking. However, I continue to explore, and I just recently checked out a book about 19th century architecture in Lowell, MA, which intrigues me.
