tomato is a solanace(sp?) ...a nightshade. highly toxic; as is potato, eggplant, tobacco....the leaves of all those plants are very much poisonous.

F16C, Thanks for this tribute. Nilsson is someone I've never studied closely but always have intended to. It's interesting to me that his songs seem to spark such nostalgia for people of a certain age.

Franco that's as much bullshit as cow milk being good for you. some study found a good antioxidant in tomato; but that doesn't negate that a huge % of people are allergic to them (& don't know it) and it's a primary aggrivation to reumatoid (sp) arthritis.
