I'm not talking about the various versions of socialism that have failed or succeeded to varying degrees in the past, but a democratic modern version designed by and for the people. Put technology to work for all people, not the few. We can avert ecological disaster and lift our species out of poverty etc. but it will take a revolution because those in power, who control the technology, will not give up their power easily.

I'm not talking about the various versions of socialism that have failed or succeeded to varying degrees in the past, but a democratic modern version designed by and for the people. Put technology to work for all people, not the few. We can avert ecological disaster and lift our species out of poverty etc. but it will take a revolution because those in power, who control the technology, will not give up their power easily.
