Good morning. Here is a lesson I will never learn: do not "update your computer" on radio show days.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:02am
Jeff Golick:

I'm just staring at this haiku on my screen:

Working on updates
Do not turn off your PC
This will take a while

Been like that for about an hour.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06am
Andrew Waterloo:

argh... I had a windows update take 5 hours once.

Good god, @Andrew. I hope it doesn't come to that. Hello, there.

It's one of those buys where I have most of what's on the Threadgill box from the original issues; costs a lot for the little extra music they dug up (especially now, when the box is more than $200...)

Dean:

Perhaps not, but Manhattan Fine Wines (formerly Manhattan Beach Liquor) is a really good wine store. Tell proprietor Joe that Dean sent you.

Taking requests? Something with Jim Black?

Not reading fiction these days. Instead, a proposal for a revision for tort law, and an account of the evolution over recent decades of the federal government's American Indian law policy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am
Jeff Golick:

That latter thing sounds potentially fascinating, @Dean. If not certainly depressing.
  11:21am

I don't love vocalese either in general, I think @sberger may have been right about the track I had in mind (but it looked like the one I mentioned on the album cover. The one I had in mind is all bass, multiple, with flute on top. Never heard anything quite like it ). Dug it anyway, thanks, Jeff!
