Seriously: Thanks to Mayuko for the excellent fill-in.
But: She neglected to include Don Felder.
@Matt ww: Maybe next time someone fills in, you could suggest that he/she might work Don into the playlist, at or near the appointed hour? It might minimize listener Felder withdrawal and associated mild symptoms of trauma.
Thanks again, @DJ Mayuko!

This Garbage and the Flowers is seriously disjointed and trippy...kind of bad and good at the same time...like Syd Barret in a way, not to lean to heavily on that comparison...also throw some Velvet Underground into that comparison as well...

There is some guy that owns a business in Buffalo that makes huge and normal sized photographic prints...somebody FOUND a monorail view camera (studio type-they are like an "old fashioned camera"...playboy used them until the early 2000's I think, 4x5 or 8x10" with a big beautiful red bellows...how cool! I wish I could find a camera in the trash...although I DID get a $350 Polaroid folding SLR (an SX?) for two bucks at a thrift store...

@Wildneil - I guess technically they're medium format and not large format/4x5 frame.. I'm not too hip with view cameras.. only used film view cameras for a semester at college..

@Cecile-I have not had an "ice cream soda" for at least five or ten years!

@bobdoesthings....I have a bunch of SLRS and stuff from thrift stores...I am a Pentax 35mm guy, but am DYING to get a full frame Pentax DSLR....maybe when I win the lottery... I sometimes use film, like when my point and shoot digital dies for no reason...
Funny how DSLRs are at like24MP now and are still considered like 35mm film cameras even though they have surpassed 35mm film by like 200% in many respects, depending who you ask...I liked TLR cameras too, Cooper Union used to loan them out to students...I think they were Yaschicas so pretty good quality but not Rolleiflex's...

@wildneil - I have my grandfathers TLR and a medium format.. but havent touched them in maybe a decade. 120 film is now expensive and all my darkroom chemicals are probably long past expired and developing rolls of 120 are way tooo pricey for 12/24 photographs.. its unfortunate
Avatar 10:12am

90.1 signal is being overtaken by some worthless ranting about "the marketplace".

1928 was pretty good, right? The Roaring Twenties and all that. What could possibly go wring?

I remember Towne Club. Also, I remember buying soda pop kits, so you could make your own at home.

What? No Rock N’ Rye at store?

@WildNeil: You’re one to talk… You’re eating blue corn chips as if that tastes any different than normal corn chips!

The orange, as I said, tastes fake but does not suck. It is a fine fake orange soda, which I like.

I remember Big Red. I think there was some artificial cinnamon flavor involved but the overall nature of the flavor was hard to nail down.

They taste a little different, but I think it's because blue corn has a different texture. They tend to grind it less fine.

I also only drink beer out of 2 packs; no 6 packs or 4 packs here!

Wow, it was so fun to find Vicki VanWinkle's old record There Goes My Heart. She was only 12 when she recorded it. Dottie West was one of her background singers and the piano player was blind. I wish you could list the flip side Little Blue Eyes, a better one. About 4 yrs. later Vicki started the first all-girl band in Dayton, Ohio, see Vicki and the Rest on Facebook.
