	6:56am Nate K: Indeed it is. I was surprised how much I liked that show. It was created by Mike White who was one of the "Freaks and Geeks" guys, if that means anything to you.
	7:02am fred: It doesnt. I don't watch TV or movies anymore, I like radio much better. The last movie I saw was Inland Empire, when it came out, which is almost a decade ago. So Laura Dern sure is familiar

	8:13am duke: Caught Mr. Airplane Man a few times in Boston. They have always been one of my favorites. I'm glad they're back at it.
	8:14am Nate K: Thanks Rob W. It's a whole side project learning proper pronunciation.
	8:19am Rob W: When it comes to difficult pronunciations, I usually just say things fast and try to sound convincing! Curiously, although I now have a day job in public radio where I have to make sure everything is pronounced perfectly, that experience has had no impact on my continued carefree approach to pronunciation on FMU!
	8:25am fred: Proper pronunciation shows respect, but with radio, there's another angle to consider. If the way you say it is wrong but enables listeners to look it up and find out about the record or live shows, that's not so wrong after all

FOR REAL THIS TIME! With a mind-boggling combination of talent and a rock-and-roll pedigree that will leave your jaw on the floor, the members of the Hard Quartet likely need no introduction. But for the sake of due diligence, the band features Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, etc.), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, etc.), Jim White (The Dirty Three, etc.), and Emmet Kelly (Will Oldham, Ty Segall, etc.). We think that's all the info you need. They deliver a short set for BURN IT DOWN! on Friday, November 8.
