I love the gif at the top. It's an optical illusion. You can make the vent look like it's spinning with the bird, or in the opposite direction depending on how you look at it.
Technically that would be an olive oil/ money infusion. Money oil would be squeezed directly from the money without the introduction of a vehicle to carry the fragrance. Also, use hydrolyzed soybean oil to make fragrances, not olive oil.
Just heard a radio story this morning talking about more foxes = fewer field mice = fewer ticks with Lyme's disease . Apparently it's the mice that harbor the Lyme's, not the deer. Go foxes!
I took portraits of Lori Goldston playing her cello in Venice. If any of you are interested. www.facebook.com...
Waiting for WFMU to hire me to take their official portraits. How about it Ken?
There is a dead mouse on the rug in our living room. Our cats kill them but don't always eat them up. Usually the field mice get inside in the fall with the temp change. But they are coming in now about one grim discovery a day. Sometimes just a butt and tail left on a rug.
WFMU should come to Venice this way I can take portraits of all of you. I'm too broke to go to Jersey.

@Frank from VT: I'm all for less Lyme disease but the deer are everywhere. I live in the densely populated burbs of NJ and no foxes are to be found. What we really need is a national policy and study by the near completely dysfunctional CDC. I think they are afraid of the word: epidemic.

Dan B,
The first rule of requesting a song to Ken is, 'you don't request rock prog songs'. Second rule of requesting songs to Ken is 'you don't requests rock prog songs'.
I love me my foxes, but there is a vaccine for Lymes Disease that should be re-legalized for humans. In the meantime, get the Lymes vaccine for your dog and take it yourself.
We used to have a pair of cats who adhered to the catch-and-release policy. Problem was, they would release them indoors. I guess they were stocking the pond for the winter, as it were.
That Lyme vaccine is a complete sham. They don't have an effective vaccine. It's main claim to fame is changing your blood test so you will still be sick but no longer read positive. Read Cure Unknown (written by the editor of Discover magazine)if you want to see how twisted it has all become.
If your cat eats a mouse and it gets stuck on his/her throat, don't even think trying to get the dead mouse with your bare hand. You risk yourself of getting good ol' bubonic plague. Choose Lyme disease over bubonic plague if you can.
Ken, you know this all started happening when They began adding Fluoride to the water. Now I hear they are adding something called 'H2O' to it. Best to use a triple filter to get all of the nasty gluten out of it, I say.
Sounds like the guitar solo from Rush - By Tor and the Snow Dog!

I'm not anti vaccine. According to almost everyone involved in treating Lyme they really don't have a vaccine for Lyme. They are pushing for a new vaccine now but given that it is only recently that the local emergency room has started treating on clinical symptoms as opposed to the test I don't think they have a fucking clue. The newest infected: The five year old brother of my son's friend. Overnight IV and 3 weeks of antibiotics. It is epidemic in my area.
A few weeks ago there was a discussion around the Round Table about which FMU staffer/DJ would win in a bracketed Fight Club tournament. (I think Andy was out in the first round...)

If not a fight club, you could slide to 'Argue Club'. Or if not that, then, 'Get Along Club'. Covers a decent range of possbility.
so, ken, you want gezan to be instant classic ? thats what you want ? thats what you ll get.
though this one tune is less original than some others, boredoms reminiscent.
I just got back and just saw that you played Messaien? Did you know that Matt Groening used the name of that Symphony to name Leela from Futurama? (Her full name is Turanga Leela).
@pollen: Well, there's Bethany's A440. Only one short hour, though.

I always wanted to Google street view the place where Mrs McGuigan lives (or used to live). Maybe the Labrador is still there waiting for its owner. But alas, I'm too busy (lazy) to do it. So I summon the power of the crowd to do it for me. Thanks.
DVA is now making music for film, theatre and animation. That is some of the few facts I learned from them when I did my vast DVA research three weeks ago.
I just did an experimental ride to Kraftwerk's Tour de France but it was too slow for my cadence. I thought it would be perfect. Going to remix it faster and loop it for 55 minutes.
Three weeks ago I went to the Youtubez to search for videos from Sudden Infant and the first one I found features a child rolling naked in bed. He's definitely way ahead of our times.
fofo: he is a comedian, he made some jokes. one of them was that one of the guys who was there with his girlfriend was the kind of ugly? pretty? kind of guy so his girlfriend would stay with him forever since she wouldn't be able to figure out if he was hot or not. it was very amusing for all but that guy and his friends. we were 15/16.
