Oh Clay. The news of the loss of your Romulus has tears streaming down my face. Yesterday was a particularly trying day around here and at about 3PM my boy Squeezle jumped into my arms, put his head and my shoulder, purred & told me "it will be alright baby." They bring such comfort the little aliens. They know. Peace.

I will be working at nyc union square greenmarket, for the LES Ecology Center stand on may 27,29(Mon, Wed), 8-5pm. We collect food scraps. Bring yours? We can gossip about Dan (like, can you understand him and his accent?)... This is part of NYC’s Community Composting program, & mayor Eric Putin wants to 100% defund us. Crazy- it’s a successful low cost program that people love, and it helps save the earth. Come on!

I've grown super weary & pissed off at the medical professionals who say "Just go the E.R. if you're not sure what to do" like the E.R. is some kind of of freakin' dance club with a $10.00 cover at the door.
Last trip resulted in a $35K bill. Yeah..no problem. I have a money tree out back!
The "medical industrial complex" is an american nightmare & if you're in it you know. Things need to change

It's the same here. Our wonderful St. George's in Tooting does miracles everyday, but the wait times in emergency are ridiculous. And we have a shadow health secretary campaigning for election who is reading from the same script as the government, more private investment in NHS.
It's a never ending nightmare, not least for the dedicated health professionals who work there.

I have absolute respect for the men & women in medicine doing their job daily. It's very difficult for sure.
I'm a big picture guy and I tend to analyze the entire situation, making necessary changes as things around me change.
Statements like the one above I referenced just anger me. It's not taking the big picture into account. What good is temporarily "healing" someone if the end result is losing your home due to medical debt?
When she was hospitalized back in April, a test showed up on her chart , that when the description was read basically said she was in catastrophic heart failure.
I went nuts, couldn't reach the doc as I read this at 10:30PM on a Sunday night.
I see him the next day at the hospital and ask him about the test.
He says "I didn't order this test" I countered "well your name was alongside it on the report?" He just stared at me.
Regardless I asked "well what do the numbers mean?"
He says "we don't treat numbers we treat patients"
????? Dumb statement.
All test results use reference values.Numbers.
I was ready to toss him out a window, but the windows there don't open.

Please be VERY careful with this Buddha. My cousin Karen went into Hackensack Medical Center back in 2005 with "bronchitis." She died two days later. Some rare fungal thing in her lungs. no one had any idea how or where she got it.
My Aunt Joan lost Karen & her son Michael in the same two week span due to an inoperable tumour on his stomach.
Take care of yourself & I hope for a speedy recovery for you
