You hit your head too? Just last month when the hotel glaziers were replacing windows in the door, I was carrying my bedding, and tripped over the lack of window in the door and busted my chin open. Worst concussion in 17 years. Still can't shave, but, heh, pandemic beard!

Thanks, WR! I should have got stitches, but the face is very vascular, and heals quickly. The scarring should be erased by next month, (If I only fell on the conforter and blankets I was carrying, I couldn't see as the blankets obstructed my view.)

Part of the success may be due to the fact that we are in a large metro area with a couple of universities. community colleges, and whatnot. Plus there is a very active local music scene.

aye, Julie P. I saw some great shows at Rollins (I did my undergrad at UF), but, man, the priviledge some of those kids demonstrated hit me the wrong way. You probably remember Park Ave CDs., One of two of my fave FL record stores (another one in Tally, whom I was friejds w/ an employee).

I hear ya Anne. I once was at Coney Island, watching Mission to Burma and Blonde Redhead (Kazu is a heroine of mine). The sound guy was passed out on the boards, and the sound sucked. So, I went up , and did the sound for Blonde Reshead. Weirdest Coney Island experience ever, and that says a lot for Coney Island.
