Haven't had mushrooms in ages. I recall one time while on the subway and a friend and I had done them. This girl began talking to us, and all we did was start laughing, the more she tried to talk to us, the harder we would laugh. I think her guy hipped her to what was going on with us after a while. Just uncontrollable laughter.

Psychedelics are presently being used in therapy for addictions, and very depressed people. There is a book by Michael Pollin, Changing your Mind. He writes some very interesting and comprehensive stuff about psychedelics. I enjoyed reading it!

Nothing wrong with having structured guitar lessons, but it's also great to do it your way. Music is not always about great musicianship. Some of the records that you love are not necessarily by great musicians. Yet they are brilliant pieces. I'm sure you can create great music on the guitar. Go for it! Sheila.

Oh, I got so much to say about guitar teaching. I'm a guitar player and once in a while i teach. And I always had the opposite problem - people want to be led and shown one way. And I, though I had formal education, never really trusted it and was always like "follow your gut feeling" kinda, and always respected self-taught artists. So go ahead and just do it. So many people play guitar "the right way" - nobody cares about them. I trust little weird own approach that might lead to a unique style
