Whoa, Yeti Bob, sounds like an adventure!

Another reason not to paddle near those aerators, at least here, is that they aerosolize contaminants in the water, which here means poop after any rain and possibly much worse industrial pollutants from the silt.

All to reach a standard that the state has abandoned and that never functioned as it was meant to anyway.

Fuller is cool. He proposed ideas like Livingry as opposed to Killingry. Also sayings like “Sun-sight” and “sun clipse“ as opposed to Sun rise and sun set; Seeing as how we on the Earth move around the sun, those ways of viewing the sun would be more accurate. The Sun is eclipsed by the earth at night and in the morning we rotate on the earths axis to another Good day Sunshine

@braen: Yes idea is the speed of light is a constant. A light year is a measure of distance in terms of how many years light takes to reach us from somewhere. Our own Sun is eight light minutes or something away... So what does Now or Then even really mean if you start to think about it...
Well you can get a little Vitamin A from butter...I *wish* eating dairy & eggs allowed me to be Vegan ...

Yes given these relations of light, distance/space & time
...if the Universe came from a singularity in a big bang
...& the Universe is expanding
- then the singularity was Every Place - & - Every Time ?
Yeah - idea that the Big Bang was two planes colliding - & our entire Universe is just the sparks thrown off from it...seems almost an Ancient Myth sort of metaphor...

Veganism is cheap if you cook from scratch. If you don't cook, it's more expensive then being an omnivore....
Avatar 11:46am

Right, basically with your 2nd axiom and our increased ability to see further into the reaches of the universe, we thus see "further back in time". I think the idea is we will eventually be able to "see" the big bang occur. Or, as you put it Rabbit, it is "every place & every time" all at once.

@Roberto: One of the impetuses for me to go omnivore was in grad school, the only vegan option on the Upper East Side (where my school was located), all of the vegan options were ridicuously expensive, and one can't live off of hummus and bean burritos alone (there was a taco bell on campus).
