was practically nose-to-nose with her at The Slits' "secret" but super-crowded show at TR3 so many many years ago (and Ari Up made a grossed out face at the processed crap Tropicana someone had given her to drink, & thanked everyone for not smoking cigarettes inside) . . . years later got to meet her at Rough Trade -- purchased both her books, and thanked her sooo much for BEING

Had a girlfriend who said, " can we just spoon tonight." and I had no idea what she meant (I was 30)?????? Spoonning for us(1975) was burning Thai sticks or DMT in a closed space between 2 spoons... and not opening the doors windoes for hours..
