Denny has all the power of institutional memory because he's been around 50 years and also a lot of ability for figuring out what could happen next.

The radio teams not traveling on road games is sort of a tribute to old time broadcasts inspired by the whole situation. So maybe some of the non-traveling home broadcasters get some extra road games this year if they don't need to fly.

Man I loved getting to see the Clydesdales when I was a kid. That was a good border fight between the Royals and the Cardinals. I grew up in southeast Kansas and both teams were fighting for those fans.

It was only played once, I think, RTR. Can't remember when exactly, but not too far back I don't think.

@rjwilsonkc: I was trying to say that YOU won't be there. It's increasingly hard to speak clearly as the show goes on. And I'm not so great at midnight.

I will definitely not be there. You are correct. But I am considering a MLB TV subscription just so I can tune in and hear Josh play during the games. I may need to write the commissioner and tell him that's why I subscribed.

It's great that there are still stations like this out there. I listened off and on today (thanks to 7IS) and WFMU is doing great things. Might just have to donate and make this a regular stop!

Welcome, E.R.--there is nothing like WFMU. I say that as a long-time listener who is thrilled to do shows here.

Yeah, thanks so much, Ira. I'm so glad I got led here from 7IS. This is what radio is supposed to be. (BTW, I was in a band where one of our songs was about how crappy radio is because they don't play Bettie Serveert or Yo La Tengo. https://music.apple.com/us/album/radio/267293499?i=267294627)
