A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

You're talking about cicadian rhythms? I always wondered how that worked.
Avatar This Is The Modern World with Trouble Hellraiser 2024 9:44am
YETI BOB:

RevRab: It looks a bit complicated, there are 13 and 17 year cycles, and different "sub-broods". I'm reading up on it now. I learned that Illinois has the largest emergence of cicadas known anywhere, but that's not due until 2024. There's a smaller emergence this year though. Check that page I linked (well that's for IL not NH).

There was a really schlocky horror film from the 80s called "The Beast Within" involving a human cicada monster. While the money is very important, the other huge factor related to the census is the allocation of representatives in the Congress. Every 10 years the fixed number of members of the House is redistributed based on the census. Fill it out and you get more weight in Congress for your neck of the woods. That could mean strong progressive representation in the House!

Also apparently trying to normalize all the Covid19 death.. the other day I saw circulating on Twitter, the White House is trying to put out statement about 'learn to live with it'. ?!?!?! Not fishing here.. some have seen me post on other shows.. my father was exposed to covid in a memory care home in NJ and of course died.
This $hit is NOT normal, I will never drink their koolaid.
P.s. gov murphy now taking a stand on masks is too little too late for those of us who've lost family in long term care.. thanks to the crippling lack of PPE in March and April, and thanks to his mandate to send covid positive people to live in LTC facilities.
Done,
thanks all.
