Must be weird starting a late night shift during these days of time and hours and wake up just being not that important.

Some are in YouTube. Most didn't last far into the sixties. The TV version of Richard Diamond is good. It's different from the radio version. I think it stars a young David Jansen?

Never before noticed that Nimoy has a bit of a Jonathan Richman groove.

I was at Film Forum one time seeing Peckinpah’s RIDE THE HIGH COUNTRY. 15 min into the film, Lou Reed and, I guess, an assistant, entered the theatre noisily, looking for seats. The usu FF crabs started shushing & hissing, sweet Lou prattled on, finding the two adjacent seats in the middle of a crowded row, provoking more imprecations and yammers. Lou fell asleep, rather loudly, abt 5 min later, a kind of rhythmic droning snore (said some reviews) then woke up after another 45 min, said loudly “THIS MOVIE SUCKS, LET’S GO” and then proceeded to upset the already upset cluckers and tsk-ers. One of his better late performances, I now can’t see RTHC without thinking of Lou Reed.
@Todd: M Squad is great. Have you ever seen Peckinpah’s The Westerner series. I bet Sterling Morrison loved it.
@ Chop Scott: that Lou Rawls Mannix was the Citizen Kane of Mannix-es. Tops. Look for the ep w Buffalo Springfield
