	4:01pm StringOFperils: Yeah that Batman TV series was of the moment. Distinctly American POP Art. It satirized itself even before that was a thing. It IS Pop.

	4:15pm Funky16Corners: I think a lot of it is trying to make comic books "suitable" for adulys, who make up a big part of their audience. The Batman TV show was a reflection of a kids product blown up into something bigger

	4:16pm Mark R.: The Batman TV show hit me at just the right age. I recall a local barber was doing Batman haircuts where he would take a crew cut and shave these little pointy bat ears in front.

	4:29pm Brian in UK: Best live band ever. THE WHO. Saw Keith Moon's last 'gig' at Shepperton Studios when they were recording additional bits for The Kids are Alright. They were on it.

	4:33pm Doctorjazz: One of those bands I never saw, sadly...(I had a thing about avoiding stadium concerts for a while, much preferring jazz clubs).

	4:36pm Dean: Good hot dogs, assuming there is such a thing, can be more or less peppery, more or less paprika-ish. My kids won't eat anything but the most bland dogs.
	4:38pm Doctorjazz: Must be a thing with hot dogs out of the NY area, don't recall having one I felt was too peppery.
	4:39pm Doctorjazz: We answer to a higher authority, you know.
	4:39pm Funky16Corners: I love a slightly spicy hot dog
	4:39pm Dean: Not too peppery, but just a hint, enough to turn off kids. IIRC, Hebrew National has a slight kick, for instance, maybe Nathan's, too? Relatively speaking, I mean.

	4:40pm Doctorjazz: Once you put enough mustard and sauerkraut on, doesn't make much difference what's under it. But, I'm partial to Nathans dogs.

	4:42pm Dean: Out here we have Casper's, both take-out joints and retail in the supermarket. Snappy. Then there's a joint near the Berkeley campus, Top Dog, that does all manner of dogs and sausages. Yeah, mustard (HOT mustard) and sauerkraut!

	4:43pm Doctorjazz: Looking back at the playlist, I see the commercial for Datsun. Actually had a Datsun 1200, cheapest tin can of a car imaginable.
	4:44pm Doctorjazz: I have to beg to differ (please, please..), deli mustard is a must! Same for pastrami.

	4:46pm Funky16Corners: There's a stand down in Wildwood called Maui's Dog House that gets their dogs custom made, and they have a horseradish mustard that'll make your hair stand on end

	4:47pm Dean: One of the best hot mustards is from Philippe near downtown LA. https://www.philippes.com/store/hot-mustard-chile-peppers Still another is at Johnnie's Pastrami on Sepulveda Blvd. Pastrami snobs poo-poo Johnnie's, because they (gasp!) steam thin-sliced pastrami, add a slice of Swiss, and serve it on a French roll. It's heaven, especially topped with their very hot horseradish mustard. Many's the time I thought my sinuses would explode.

	4:47pm Dean: One of the best hot mustards is from Philippe near downtown LA. https://www.philippes.com/store/hot-mustard-chile-peppers Still another is at Johnnie's Pastrami on Sepulveda Blvd. Pastrami snobs poo-poo Johnnie's, because they (gasp!) steam thin-sliced pastrami, add a slice of Swiss, and serve it on a French roll. It's heaven, especially topped with their very hot horseradish mustard. Many's the time I thought my sinuses would explode.
