Once upon a time, I showed my girlfriend the list of wfmu dj premiums for the marathon.
She said, 'you know this is a cult, right?'
I was all "yeah, yeah - so which of the premiums do you want?"
And after a moment she said, "who's that woman-centric DJ I like?"
Aaaand that's the remarkable true story of how I chose Sheila's DJ premium last year (although truth be told, it was already on my list).
