You and a guest are cordially invited to attend Morricone Island's annual Oscar Party. Black tie/formal attire required. Devon revisits highlights of the 2020 Best Original Score nominees -- Hildur Guðnadóttir ("Joker"), Alexandre Desplat ("Little Women"), Randy Newman ("Marriage Story"), Thomas Newman ("1917") and John Williams ("Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker") -- to help ensure an informed decision in the Best Score category of your own Oscar pool this year.

	7:48pm mariano: I was 8 when the first one came out, so I was in the target audience. I was absolutely besotted with Star Wars for a few years, had most of the toys, but had pretty much forgotten about it a year or so after Empire Strikes Back.
