ultradamno: I'd like to hear that Baretta track with Blake's voice from Lost Highway superimposed.

@ ultradamno -- right? i remember all the Baretta jokes when Blake was on trial!
Foxes is awesome -- being a diehard Runaways fan, i saw it when it was released -- still great!

Wait what now? They were gonna give Chinatown a funk soundtrack? I'm sure I heard that wrong, lol! Apparently though Paramount, to save on costs, wanted the Godfather to be set in 70s Kansas City, with a "contemporary" soundtrack, with Laurence Olivier as the Don and Robert Redford as Michael.

I have the sole record that Robert Blake's wife made and MAN does it stink. It might be one of the worst pieces of wax I've heard outside of The Shaggs.

Devon E. Levins:

Thanks for listening, All! I was trying to say that Phillip Lambro wrote the original score to Chinatown but it was rejected and replaced with the Jerry Goldsmith we all now know and love. His unused score is out there and is great as well. Perseverance Records put it out about 15 years ago. His "Crypt of the Living Dead" score is great too.

Mark in Toronto:

Joyride a standard AIP-type exploitation movie from 1977. It is not Canadian. Filmed in Washington state and (possibly) Alaska, set in Alaska. Starring Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine and I believe Desi Arnez Jr.
