	3:32pm Phillippe Bastille: @funky16corners I went to University of Maryland 1975-1981 (5 1/2 year plan) and they played A LOT in the area back then. Saw them once at a place in Baltimore (The Famous Ballroom) that had funky papiermache clouds hanging from the ceiling. The Nighthawks were so loud a couple of the clouds shook loose in the encore.
	3:32pm doctorjazz: Danny Federici on piano gave the band a whole different feel, more jazzy/R n B feel.
	3:32pm Matt from New Orleans: Larry I like the 80s albums as well if not as much as the 70s output. It only starts to drop off precipitously for me with Human Touch.

	3:39pm still b/p: Whether Boomer or Gen Xer, the periods are wide enough that arriving near the heads and tails of them can mean having fairly different cultural experiences/markers/alignments/identifications from one's ostensibly generational brothers and sisters. I've always had a "Yeah, but...." attitude about my lattter-stage Boom timing when the references or assumptions start flyin' and floatin'.

Bruce is something I have never gotten into, except Nebraska and Born In The USA (simply a part of an 80s childhood, you heard its songs everywhere, even here in Finland with limited national radio airtime available for rock music and other adventures). And now I am surprised how good this sounds.
	4:09pm CupcakeJenny: I finally got my Bruce story one night in Asbury Park. Larry and I and the kids were crossing the street on a summer night between Convention Hall and the Wonder Bar. This was after it started cleaning up but before the madness of now. I turned my head to look around while we waited to cross and there was Bruce. I was squeezing Larry’s hand. Bruce! Bruce! I was finally a Jersey Girl.
	4:09pm Funky16Corners: I remember moving into my first apartment in Ocean Grove (right next to Asbury) and the first night, driving down rt71 in Asbury with this cassett in the deck, and it was both corny as fuck and profound.
	4:10pm Funky16Corners: @Jenny - That was a cool night, right across from Convention Hall. He was walking into the Wonder Bar!

Saw them once at a place in Baltimore (The Famous Ballroom) that had funky papiermache clouds hanging from the ceiling. The Nighthawks were so loud a couple of the clouds shook loose in the encore.

Bruce is something I have never gotten into, except Nebraska and Born In The USA (simply a part of an 80s childhood, you heard its songs everywhere, even here in Finland with limited national radio airtime available for rock music and other adventures). And now I am surprised how good this sounds.

This was after it started cleaning up but before the madness of now. I turned my head to look around while we waited to cross and there was Bruce. I was squeezing Larry’s hand. Bruce! Bruce! I was finally a Jersey Girl.
