I also had every intention to go see Half Japanese playing in a Drexel parking garage but I spent so much time getting dressed/doing my hair and makeup that by the tie I got there Jad Fair and co. were playing their last song:(

All I can recall personally was that in the dressing room at the Mudd Club, I believe it was, someone defaced graffiti of the band's name so that it now read as "Blasmatios"! I hope you can use that — maybe even as the book title. :)
