Both the Sheena stream and the Drummer stream seem to be having these little dropouts that just trigger the auto-stream but then returns. It's a bit maddening. But is it also happening on the main WFMU stream?

Some commenter here encouraged me to read Richard Hell's autobiography because my aunt Cookie appears in it, and he can definitely write. It was pretty entertaining for the most part except for some sexism, though it's not always clear if he still approves of the way he used to act with the ladies. And the book doesn't really give a sense of how he drew people that way -- but maybe that's just the inexplicable animal nature of magnetism with some people.
