	2:31pm Mr Fab: Go for it! Sometimes when I'm loading songs into the Sheena stream, i realize that they weren't coded correctly, and there's no artist and/or song title. And if it's an instrumental, I sometimes have no idea what it is. So i've made stuff up. So if you see a song credited to, say, The Tor Johnson Experience...

	2:43pm Mr Fab: "The Hellers" is such a relic from the Mad Men era - an album by an ad agency?! But with all actual ads removed. "Meta," as the kids would say.
	2:44pm Linda Lee: love the way they avoided any political statement on 'the news'. usually when a news broadcast was included on record it made a definite statement (like simon & garfunkel's 'silent night'). always striking out of context.
	2:45pm Linda Lee: love the pseudo peter max graphic. peter max was absolutely everywhere..
	2:48pm Mr Fab: Funny, yeah, two albums in a row w/the Pseudo Max covers. Poor Peter, his style getting ripped-off everywhere, (Actually, he wasn't "poor" at all, heh, I'm sure he did alright, but you know what I mean)

	2:50pm Linda Lee: yes he did exceptionally well & licensed his designs everywhere. school lunchboxes.. everything. i was a fan & could always pick out his work from the copies. it had a trippy edge that the copies didn't quite approach.

	2:53pm Mr Fab: One of those highly successful artists who will never be included in any art history books. (Maybe BECAUSE he was highly successful?)
	2:56pm Linda Lee: yes, maybe. i'm not sure where he'd go, as far as genre. his work was more poster art than anything else. not comic art, not classical illustration, .. poster art that also went on wrist watches.

	3:00pm Linda Lee: i was fascinated by this Dick Hyman album when new, too. (thank goodness for older cousins & siblings!) loved the cover! i should really own it. alas, never have!

	3:23pm Mr Fab: Speaking of sample-able drum breaks: Copper Plated Integrated Circuit's version of "Love Child." (DJs/producers: you're welcome)
	3:35pm Mr Fab: Well now, I gotta find that "Adventure In Sound" lp,don't I? That was choice. And as it's on the lowly Tops label, it won't be expensive.
	3:42pm Linda Lee: such great stuff. so amazed.
	4:20pm Mr Fab: I saw Bob Moog himself in person, talking about (among other things) the "Cosmic Sounds" album. he said it was the first West Coast LP w/Moogs - the album had already been recorded, and they added electronics over it. And he said the musicians working on it were excited: "Wow man, we're making real 'head' music!"
	5:05pm Mr Fab: just had to do a mess o' actual work/talk w/co-worker. Of all the nerve!
	♥ 5:07pm Otis Fodder: Ha, sounds like my day, almost every day. Hello archives, yay! WFMU is so great that we have archives going back, far back, whereas a lot of college stations have limited, if any archives stretching back a few weeks.

And if it's an instrumental, I sometimes have no idea what it is. So i've made stuff up. So if you see a song credited to, say, The Tor Johnson Experience...

	4:20pm Mr Fab: I saw Bob Moog himself in person, talking about (among other things) the "Cosmic Sounds" album. he said it was the first West Coast LP w/Moogs - the album had already been recorded, and they added electronics over it. And he said the musicians working on it were excited: "Wow man, we're making real 'head' music!"
