Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from July 26, 2019 Favoriting

Uncle Michael's avatar View Uncle Michael's profile Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

So in my early twenties, I began to develop an irrational fear of escalators. This struck me as silly, so I decided to combat it with rationality and information. I discovered that escalators are in fact damn death traps, and one that I took at least once a week at the time was one of the most dangerous in the United States.. The child in this gif is in serious danger and it's causing me to hyperventilate. Good afternoon, everyone!

That's right. Left class Friday night, stood at the corner of Slauson Ave. and Norwalk Blvd., stuck out my thumb, arrived in the Bay Area before midnight.

"Prior to RingCentral Coliseum, the Coliseum had multiple naming-rights-influenced identities in the past, including Network Associates Coliseum, McAfee Coliseum, Overstock.com Coliseum, and O.Co Coliseum. The most recent of those monikers was removed in 2016, the year O.co (formerly Overstock.com) walked away from a $1.45-million annual naming-rights deal when the Raiders announced a move from Oakland."
