As Linda explained the whole thing is a cycle. The different branches of belief focus on a difference of this cycle. Many feel the RC focus on the brutal death is morbid, but that perspective is how could we focus on the good outcome when the sacrifice was what really showed their connection with god.
This is why Rachel is absolutely right to be confused. Some believe the bad, sad incident remembered today is the happiest event because it showed them just how much their god was on their side.

Daybreak, the currently child free.:
I forgot to turn off my alarm so it went off at 5:45, then I snoozed it because I was so out of it so it went off again in 10 minutes.
Then I had trouble going back to sleep because I knew I was going to have to wake up by 6:45 to drive my wife into work.
I want to pick her up and head straight out later today. But now, as the gentle music plays I am pulling down the blinds and closing the curtains and may just go back to sleep.
Hilariously, I turned on the coffee at 5:45, but didn’t drink any when this particular scheme occurred to me.
This is the time to Wake then nap, baby!
