April 16, 2019: STEPHANE WREMBEL (Django a GoGo 2019)
French virtuoso guitarist Stephane Wrembel discusses his 12th "Django a GoGo Festival" celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt. Stephane brings another world-class team of French guitarists to join him at Town Hall on April 27th including Simba Baumgartner (Reinhardt’s great grandson). In addition to leading The Django Experiment and The Stephane Wrembel Band, Stephane composed the theme to Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," performed in Hans Zimmer's supergroup at the 2012 Academy Awards and has scored a number of films.
