An empty car all to myself.
Can't last. Hello, David!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:02pm

You have a full choice of seats, Sem!

Just don't try moving up to first class, Sem. They'll get you for that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm
Sem:

I'll just stay back here in no class. No struggle, that way.
Avatar 3:03pm
northguineahills:

for all of you gamer developers out there, I suggest a sand box game where you try to form a band in the mid 70s NY, and one of the mini-games is a garage band (the game) interface. I call, it, game of Ramones.

/sorry.... I'll show myself out...

Greetings βrian and NGH!

Speaking of class struggles, I dreamed I was halfway through my last semester of college when I realized I'd utterly forgotten about one of my classes. Such stress!

Waiting dreams, too. I head into the kitchen to get a customer's tardy order, only to get lost in a maze of hallways. Oy.

My most recent themes of dreams (I remember about 6/night) entail going back and forth and navigating random land/urban scapes, and I know if I keep the details correct, I'll get to the goal (this one I've been doing since I was a kid)(If I can't navigate, my inner-fear is my brain is broken). The other, is, seconds before I wake up, someone say, "It's time to jump", not in the physical sense, but to go from dreamland to waking...

We had over 13 inches of rain one night in August. What a mess!

Went out for a walk while still wearing a full suit, ended up talking to a guy walking w/ his kid as he was wearing a GG Allin shirt. (My hair is now cut short, beard shorn, and my most conservative suit on for my earlier interview).
Avatar 4:38pm
northguineahills:

early winter and early spring is when we don't get as much rain per average. The rest of the year, it usually rains nearly every day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:38pm

I can't remember the last time I wore a tie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:39pm

How did your interview go?
Avatar 4:42pm

@David: I killed it, but I might be overqualified is my only qualm.
Avatar 4:43pm
northguineahills:

t'would be nice, 5 minute commute, and maybe a 10 minutes bike ride (but see the rain we get around here above)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm

NGH: Overqualification is such a weird concept. In any case, I hope you get the job that's right for you.

@fleep: a sure sign of spring here a few days ago, a solitary harbour porpoise looking for the usual late March run of little mackerals. Arrived a little too soon.
Avatar 4:56pm

California Dreaming reminds me of the film, Chung King Express (if you've seen it, you'd recognize it..., well the original...)
Avatar 4:57pm
fleep:

@Sem depending on the condition of your harbour, remind it not to eat the plastic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm

One thing about a 29 foot tidal range here is that the crap gets flushed out to the Gulf of Maine and the North Atlantic, so that those in the pelagic zone get a crack at that shit.
