	10:39pm Funky16Corners: A lot of it depends on who was working the Moog. There were a lot of dabblers and a few people who knew how to get musicality out of it
	10:41pm Matt from New Orleans: Hal Blaine used a moog on two of his own songs in 67 which were two of the first ten ever songs that featured a moog so it probably was a moog moogfoundation.org...

	10:46pm Funky16Corners: @Franco - Back in the day, the bass player I was in a band with bought a Leslie from a piano/organ store that was going out of business. he had to rebuild it (rusty) but eventually got it going

	10:52pm Matt from New Orleans: I saw The Beach Boys with Brian Wilson at Jazz Fest a few years ago and it was barely tolerable. Between Uncle Jessie mcing and playing the drums and Brian Wilson having no vocal range or projection, it was only “saved” by the sheer amount of backup singers.

	11:25pm Franco Twinkie: Larry, I saw Zakir Hussain playing with Ali Akbar Khan outside at Stern Grove in San Francisco, a big stand of redwoods in the city.
