Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

@Pedro: I'm so sick of the clumsy messages and poor production of the GOP's ads and mailers. I mean, they can't even hire a HS AV intern,,,, (I'm in FL, so, this really sucks).

I read that Rick Springfield underwent elocution lessons when he emigrated the US and began appearing on soap operas. It went so well that his Australian accent completely disappeared.

Slim Gaillard did lots of stuff with silly lyrics and mangled language Flat Foot Floogie and Poppity Pop come to mind, as does his track with Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker, where he mangle their names.
