	11:27pm Dean: My introduction to the Dead was, perhaps not surprisingly, Workingman's Dead. From there I passively understood the extent of their contribution. Only lately have I begun to dig in. Yes, those first two albums sound real good. The second comes with mono and stereo versions. (I prefer the former.) Both have relatively contemporaneous live shows. Top notch, all of it.
	11:36pm Dean: Just ordered the Cornell '77 show, too. More than a few times I have proclaimed that I attended EVERY SINGLE DEAD SHOW, and I won't deny those statements. But I've been slow to pick up the souvenirs, and now I'm just getting started.
