Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

oh and for the record, pretzel logic, i do remember discussing that mispelling with friends whilst peering at the cover through the smoke one bright evening when we were teenagers. i don't remember if i had noticed it before it was pointed out. if i knew how to spell pretzel, i would've noticed it; but i'm not sure i knew how to spell pretzle at that time in my twisted life.

No one in Paris was ready for what Coltrane was laying down in 1960: "Coltrane was loudly booed during his solos on 'All of You' and 'Bye Bye Blackbird.'" From: http://www.plosin.com/MilesAhead/Sessions.aspx?s=600321
