treated myself to traditional indian streetfood the other day. i love those damn chicken pakoras; missed the saag paneer by one day.... if you're ever in asheville nc, you MUST go eat at Chai Pani and come get me, i'm only a block from there.

i was startled as well when that tv ad guy died - don't know his name...the same week as Michael Jackson...he did ads for cheap gimicky stuff for years and people seemed to be really hurt that he died; but i needed an explanation.

annie i've looked in many indian restaurants through the years and only seen that in one - my favorite still after many years, though i rarely get there, the "star of india" in kenilworth nj. there's one indian place here and i've seen 3-4 come & go...no mushroom matar.
