OK. I have seen Coming Home. I guess I have seen Ashby movies. Also prior to my awareness of directors in general. Oddly, my appreciation for films came to me in my late teens, thanks to Siskel and Ebert, and my mom, who'd give me a Leonard Maltin's guide every christmas for many years.

really peculiar movie. Worth seeing, but kind of bad. But surreal. Not sure what they were thinking. Lots of weird dialog. People going crazy on a strain of LSD. Their hair falls out. They look demented. It could have had an early Cronenberg vibe, but they opted for bad TV movie drama approach instead. Has a strange sounding soundtrack.
Avatar 6:45pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Someone once used Good Night in a video collage I saw in DUMBO. Truly great.
