I've been meaning to watch Lemon, having just watched all of Eagle Heart, which co-stars Brett Gelman, Lemon keeps getting recommended to me. (Eagle Heart is fucking hysterical, btw.)

Kamp Climax:

Heather Christian is in real life what Bjork has been ACTING like for 35 years. Heather Christian speaks in real life the way Marlon Brando practiced for all those years. Surreal. Absent at times, mumbling at times, giggling at her own thoughts. So cool.
Avatar 7:45pm
Linda Lee:

not sure about the Brando :-D

Pretty weird listening to an interview on NJ radio while in Boston and the interviewee talks about working on a project with a guy went to high school with in Milwaukee... Awesome.
Avatar 7:46pm
Kamp Climax:

She just made a link between John Denver and David Bowie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm
ultradamno:

The upside down thing reminded me of this, actually: slackershack.files.wordpress.com...

In fact, Quentin Dupieux popped in my head when I first saw it before I put that together.

Kamp Climax:

Can this girl be more of a Piano Nerd.
Avatar 7:48pm
Kamp Climax:

Linda Lee, your support of Stash yesterday was so stand-up. Dig you forever for that.
Avatar 7:49pm
Jeff Moore:

Nope, that doesn't sound like a Bösendorfer grand.
Avatar 7:49pm
Linda Lee:

i did what?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49pm

i loved both the interview and Heather's music. thanks, Devon!

i was one of many tho. she was being silly! :-)

Piano Nerds: Jeff Moore > Heather Christian.
Avatar 7:51pm
Jeff Moore:

O hell no, I don't rank.
Avatar 7:53pm
Kamp Climax:

Sorry Jeff, you spelled out Bosendorfer in less than 40 seconds after it was mentioned and then did a sound check on the damn thing. Dude, you even added the umlauts.
Avatar 7:54pm
Kamp Climax:

Moore, I bet your eating with a tuning fork as we speak.
Avatar 7:55pm
Linda Lee:

now i hear the Callas. yep!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm

Well, if she does tour I think she'll find the ghosts here in the midwest much more polite.
Avatar 7:57pm
Kamp Climax:

All Warhol and the gang listened to at the Factory was Callas. Callas on repeat.
Avatar 7:58pm
Linda Lee:

hard not to! especially if you're not quite straight.
Avatar 7:58pm
Kamp Climax:

Velvet Underground? No. Dylan? No. Callas? all day and night.
Avatar 7:58pm
Jeff Moore:

Well, I mean I was already primed by the interview to listen for it - and the big effortless deep bass of of a gigantic Bösendorfer in a good-sized room is different from the sound of an upright in a basement - so much so that even I, far from a piano maven, am quite ready to imagine I could pick it out. But hell, the nice lady already pointed us that way!
Avatar 7:58pm
Linda Lee:

they did like Top 40 though. who didn't? best top 40 in history then.
Avatar 7:59pm
Kamp Climax:

Moore, you just upped the ante like a mug.
