Hi, Dan. Got any fry-worthy yodeling from The Cranberries tonight to commemorate the passing of Dolores O'Riordan?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12pm
melinda:

Hi fryers
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm
Dan Bodah:

@Ken, very sad about the news re: Dolores. I do not have anything to commemorate her tonight, but I think you'll hear some Cranberries tunes if you stick around a little later tonight.

Mongolian Throat Singing so nice
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm
Dan Bodah:

@Brian, how'd Wisconsin get that? I guess land of a thousand lakes wasn't enough, they had to take cranberries from New England too?

@ranjit, my pleasure.

i remember the album Chill Out of Klf, sampling these kind of sounds
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35pm
Dan Bodah:

Bayarabaatar has particularly good control of wobbles in kargyraa range -- you don't hear a lot of these kinds of complex ornaments in the super-low singing.
Avatar 7:36pm
βrian:

We envy MN is most all regards, these days, but even NJ produces more cranberries than MN.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
Dan Bodah:

@papayo, what's that album that samples these? KLF?
Avatar 7:37pm
Papayo:

Chill Out (1990)
Avatar 7:39pm
Papayo:

"Chill Out" was a conceived as continuous piece of music, with original KLF music interwoven with sampled from songs by Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, Acker Bilk, Van Halen 808 Stateand field recordings of Tuvan throat singers. Its best known track is "Wichita Lineman Was a Song I Once Heard".
