	9:48am Lixiviated Life: Burning books? Has it come to that already? It maybe more effective to tear out the pages, crumple them up and place them under your clothing. Fire will burn out but insulation will last longer. (and it's far less fascist)

	10:50am melinda: I have mixed feelings about all of my snow. I would miss it if I lived in Florida, though. Growing up in Texas I couldn't wait to move to a place with regular snow, always felt disappointed in winter.
	10:50am The Oscar: Been busy working from home, but checking in from snowy Boston! I'm pretty sure Agnes Varda will be doing a lecture (series?) at the Harvard Film Archive in the coming months, along with screenings of most or all of her films.

I still shovel my own sidewalk because I need the excercise, and I was really lucky to have a neighbor with a plowing business who would do neighbors' driveways just out of neighborliness for several years, but he fled to Florida this year and I had to face up to the fact that I need the extra help enough that it's worth the $.
	11:07am Vivian: Living in GA, I miss the change of seasons. Fall colors are brief and winter is blah. Here in Atl, it is 5 degrees warmer than NYC. If it is going to be this cold, give me some snow. Whenever I hear about snow in NY, it makes me miss home.
	11:07am glenn: i'm pretty sure that it would be far less expensive to just put heating cables in the streets and sidewalks, a la radiant flooring. a few extra drains to handle the runoff, boom done.
	11:07am Scraps: Doorways are good to have a god watching over them! For one thing, doorways make you forget things. When you pass a doorway, you have to concentrate if you’re wanting to remember something that you specifically passed a doorway to find, otherwise you may forget. This happens to me constantly. I should remember to pray to Janus.

	10:50am melinda: I have mixed feelings about all of my snow. I would miss it if I lived in Florida, though. Growing up in Texas I couldn't wait to move to a place with regular snow, always felt disappointed in winter.

I still shovel my own sidewalk because I need the excercise, and I was really lucky to have a neighbor with a plowing business who would do neighbors' driveways just out of neighborliness for several years, but he fled to Florida this year and I had to face up to the fact that I need the extra help enough that it's worth the $.
	11:07am Vivian: Living in GA, I miss the change of seasons. Fall colors are brief and winter is blah. Here in Atl, it is 5 degrees warmer than NYC. If it is going to be this cold, give me some snow. Whenever I hear about snow in NY, it makes me miss home.
	11:07am glenn: i'm pretty sure that it would be far less expensive to just put heating cables in the streets and sidewalks, a la radiant flooring. a few extra drains to handle the runoff, boom done.
	11:07am Scraps: Doorways are good to have a god watching over them! For one thing, doorways make you forget things. When you pass a doorway, you have to concentrate if you’re wanting to remember something that you specifically passed a doorway to find, otherwise you may forget. This happens to me constantly. I should remember to pray to Janus.
