	7:13pm Dean: The Brain Box is a favorite. I bought a bunch of boxes this year, but most were originally reissued in past years.

	7:14pm tim abdellah: The Beach Boys "1967 – Sunshine Tomorrow" is pretty great. The new first-ever stereo mix of the "Wild Honey" album is phenomenal!

Encompasses not only his solo work, but also his earlier composition and production work at Stax. Haven't heard the whole thing yet, but any comp that has both "Soul Man" and "Shaft" on it can't be bad!

	8:41pm Dean: Yeah, me, too. Saw a good story yesterday or the day before about Terry Kath, whose daughter produced a documentary about him. Those first couple, three albums, even including the monumental 4LP live set, were generally solid.

	♥ 9:04pm joe: I have jsut recently rediscoverd some joy in non Syd Barrett (which I never stopped listening to) Pink Floyd. Still have a hard time with Dark Side but I listend to The Wall all the way through for the first time in over 20 years on an overnight drive and was like oh yeah I really loved this album at one time
	9:05pm still b/p: From the haters: "Enough people were taken in by (lead singer Ian Anderson`s) awkward collage of fifteenth-hand theology, light-metal theatrics, and ill-informed rural nostalgia to make `Aqualung` an enormous hit among pretentious 13-year-olds of all ages." I was maybe a few weeks past 13 when I bought Aqualung and Thick As A Brick at the same time.

I still remember their convo when the teacher returned it: Teacher: I think ... I think you need to be on some kind of drugs to get anything out of this. Student: Well, yeah

	♥ 9:18pm joe: I discovered TAAB around 12 or 13 as well in my uncles record collection. I had no idea who the guy Jethro Tull was and it was the fold out newspaper that caught my attention.

	♥ 9:20pm joe: So many albums were swiped from that collectoin based on cover art. I remember having seen In The COurt of The Crimson king in his room when I was like 5 or 6 and that cover stuck with me forever that when I came across it during one of those raids it was definate take.

	♥ 9:28pm joe: Rush was a big one. I listened to a lot until about 18 but then could stomach them for like 25 years. Recently I started to enjoy them again but can't get past Signals (1982)

	♥ 9:30pm Uncle Michael: I've reevaluated or evolved on a lot of artists. Tull is my only true love/hate or hate/love flip.
	9:30pm northguineahills: I had a rough few months, and sat down in Brookln before I departed for FL, and I saw a live video of AC/DC on parade float in Australia, and I suddenly got them, I now dig them. It's weird how those moments happen.
	♥ 9:31pm coelacanth∅: i took several years off listening to jethro tull...except aqualung, which i've listened to as an easter tradition in it's entirety, almost every year for many decades. it is a perfect album. ...for 1/2 a year now i've been pretty heavily into the first 3 albums again.
	9:32pm northguineahills: @Gary: That was the first Pink Floyd album I liked (Then I discovered more Syd Barrett). (It might have been the same day discovered Ummagumma).

	♥ 9:33pm joe: NOt to exhale smoke up Uncle Michaels posterior or play to his being in the room but I have very much adopted his show moniker of No Guilty Pleasures in my listening which has allowed me to go back and re-embrace much music that I thought I was too cool for school for anymore.
	9:33pm northguineahills: I have a Canadian friend who produces drill & bass. It took a me a few years, but he converted me to the darkside known as Rush.

(and i love the first 7 r.e.m. albums)

	9:42pm still b/p: I don't think it was so much a 180 flip as a refusal to stick with Aerosmith on their route. Big fan as a teenager (and still have a soft spot for early albums). Couldn't stand the comeback stuff, overdone clowny schlock.

Haven't heard the whole thing yet, but any comp that has both "Soul Man" and "Shaft" on it can't be bad!

Still have a hard time with Dark Side but I listend to The Wall all the way through for the first time in over 20 years on an overnight drive and was like oh yeah I really loved this album at one time

	9:30pm northguineahills: I had a rough few months, and sat down in Brookln before I departed for FL, and I saw a live video of AC/DC on parade float in Australia, and I suddenly got them, I now dig them. It's weird how those moments happen.
