October 31, 2017: MESSER CHUPS
Messer Chups stop by WFMU during the middle of their North American "Halloween Howling" tour to discuss their latest album "Taste the Blood of Guitaracula" released on Friday the 13th by their new L.A.-based label MuSick Recordings for a special Halloween Edition of Morricone Island. Known for their prolific output of albums since the late 1990's, splintering from founding guitarist Oleg Guitaracula's sampledelic, post-easy listening, mondo-surf duo Messer Fur Frau Muller, the St. Petersburg, Russia-based surf trio deliver another coffin full of action-packed b-movie, exploitation, horror, sci-fi-inspired (mostly) instrumentals. Bassist Zombierella promises to also treat listeners to a couple of her carefully curated 7" Halloween favorites!
