It's a question which has been keeping me up nights for quite some time. So here goes... When a song is played on the radio, how much is the royalty payment? Is it different for each artist? Is there an average amount, a standard royalty rate, or do the more successful bands/artists like The Beatles and Elvis command a higher rate than the others? Any info will really be appreciated! Thanks!
