Quick traffic update before I go brave the usual idiots making u-turns right out of parking spots across Kearny Ave.: The Cross Bronx Expressway is messed up even more than usual due to an accident under the apartments. If you're crossing to the Jersey side over the GWB, get comfortable, finish your coffee and listen to Jonesy because you're not going anywhere any time soon.
Have a happy day!!!!!!

NJ Prof, you also make some excellent points -- not every song can appeal to everyone, and I, too, enjoy discovering new music as well as old music I haven't heard before. But I think a programmer needs to find the right balance...
Tomasz: You're putting words in my mouth! I wasn't exactly asking for more old rock artists -- I'm sick to death of the classic rock station, which keeps playing the same few tired old songs over and over, decade after decade... I just think Jonesy and this station should try to be a bit more competitive -- I'd love to see Jonesy and WFMU beat the classic rock station in the ratings.
