The 1st 48 hours, the $ were coming in fast compared to previous years, and I attributed it to the improved economy. It was remarkable on a % basis considering the withdrawal of JM in the AM from the acc't and the increase in the goal. So I remarked here. By a week later I was afraid I'd jinxed it.
Always makes me nervous because I can afford to donate so little myself, but feel so attached to so much of the programming.
