You and a guest are cordially invited to attend Morricone Island's annual Oscar Party. Black tie/formal attire required. Devon will revisit the highlights of the five Best Original Score nominees -- Mica Levi's "Jackie (revisit her 2015 WFMU interview), Thomas Newman's "Passengers" (the youngest son of Alfred Newman with 14 nominations but zero wins!), Dustin O'Halloran & Hauschka's "Lion" (revisit their 2017 WFMU interview), Nicholas Britell's "Moonlight" (on Devon's Best of 2016 List), or Justin Hurwitz's "La La Land" (winner of the 2017 Golden Globe) -- to help ensure an informed decision in the Best Score category at your own Oscar party this year.
