Weve had 12 different people do this slot and I think theyve all been great, but it was 12 very very different approaches. WHich is of course what WFMU is all about and that's what it will remain outside of this slot. But for this slot we desperately need a mildly formatted approach that can bring in lots of new car-bound listeners to the station. We dont have Nachum Segal, TOm Scharpling or Richard Nixon to kick around anymore dont you know.

Weve had 12 different people do this slot and I think theyve all been great, but it was 12 very very different approaches. WHich is of course what WFMU is all about and that's what it will remain outside of this slot. But for this slot we desperately need a mildly formatted approach that can bring in lots of new car-bound listeners to the station. We dont have Nachum Segal, TOm Scharpling or Richard Nixon to kick around anymore dont you know.
