Danny Robbie Porter became a very successful music excec, down here in the 70's, '55 Days at Peeking' was a big hit, but not typical of his style, most of his other stuff was Hawaiian style Lap Steel instros, square, but cool! Nice stuff BTW, loved the Willis Jackson, his late 50's through late 60's output is fantastic, think I got all his LP's from that period, all rule! Great bands, McDuff, Pat Martino, Bill Jennings etc!

Jazz violinist Michael White's, The Blessing Song from Pneuma LP 1972 on Impulse & Doug Carns & Jean Carns on vocals, Little B's Poem 1971 on Black Jazz Dig that Rev Jackson cut Stand by Me, killer!
