I suspect it's due to the semi-legit nature of their compilations. I bought a bunch from my (now shuttered) favorite record store for really cheap - the CDs appear hand-made, with paste on labels. I don't know if that's just how they started out, or if someone was actually bootlegging their releases. On CD didn't even have a CD in it. Pretty weird.

I don't know if that's just how they started out, or if someone was actually bootlegging their releases. On CD didn't even have a CD in it. Pretty weird.
