Someone should measure that pig.

A knew a few pigs named Allison… Also a few nice ladies named Allison as well!

OK, this is getting weird.
Last night I had a dream that I saved a small pig from being slaughtered.
Then this morning my boss showed me a TV ad where a retired couple walks a pig.
And now…
  3:05pm
JakeGould:

Oh how cute is Allison as she squeezes her nose through the bars of the prison that holds her! How cute are the captive!

I would have put them in March so it would be "March of the Pigs"

i gave up using 'pig' as an insult. It's not the pigs' fault people are so gross.

Well, in Yiddish “Chazzer” means “pig.” And “Chazzerai” is “pig food.” So that’s a new way to say “pig” if you can wing it.

We can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere - like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.

Cecile - for someone who doesn't watch horror movies im sure it is... but it wasn't excessively bleak, violent, or disturbing far beyond what you'd see on primetime tv. id say someone scared by classic late 70s-80s movies Halloween, Alien, The Thing would find it scary.
Avatar 4:25pm

I might have to try maybe one episode and if I don't freak out, I might be able to handle the rest.

It's weird, I can watch real-life detective shows, but fantasy horror does a number on me.
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 4:30pm
chris:

@Cecile, my wife is involved with a mystery writer's conference, listening to former fbi serial killer detectives talk about their work will make you long for the fantasy horror stuff, i think. truly deeply disturbing stuff out there for real.
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 4:32pm
chris:

cool, Marcel! i'll have to listen to your archived show!

hi, Scott, all!
Avatar 4:33pm
Cecile:

I know. I don't watch serial killer stuff whether it be non-fiction or Criminal Minds. It sounds weird, but I'll watch shows about adults killing adults in passion, but I don't like torture or serial killers. I read enough true crime serial killer stuff that I never needed to look at it again. I think I'm just interested in the process. That's why I like a show like Lt. Joe Kenda's.
Avatar 4:34pm
Cecile:

Also, there's an element of scary surprise in horror movies that's hard for me to take. If I'm watching something I know happened, I can kind of gird myself for it.
