	1:16pm Dean: I suppose it's fair to say that Randy Newman is an acquired taste. I haven't fully acquired it, but a friend from high school was a fan then, and I trust his judgment, particularly respecting the early stuff. Sameness, though, isn't damning. Unless you're Rush.

	1:20pm doctorjazz: I've always been a Newman fan, which isn't to say I love every track he puts down, but when he hits, he really hits, at least for me (sometimes he does get too obvious/direct). Hey, I love Neil, but can't say I love every song or album he's done, either.

	2:22pm Alex In Illinois: Well now if you are including fiddle or banjo tunes, you get a lot more named after states. You can add a few more to the Oklahoma list like Oklahoma Waltz, and Oklahoma Redbird. But, I think the states having the most fiddle or banjo tunes named after them are Georgia and Arkansas.

	2:30pm Alex In Illinois: The last few people from Puerto Rico who spoke to me about statehood said that there is 1 contingent wanting state-hood, 1 contingent wanting complete separatism as I n nationhood, 1 that wants things to remain as is, and another group that does not seem to care. And that as long as he nationhood and statehood groups each represent less than 50% of the population, there will not be any change.

You can add a few more to the Oklahoma list like Oklahoma Waltz, and Oklahoma Redbird. But, I think the states having the most fiddle or banjo tunes named after them are Georgia and Arkansas.

	2:30pm Alex In Illinois: The last few people from Puerto Rico who spoke to me about statehood said that there is 1 contingent wanting state-hood, 1 contingent wanting complete separatism as I n nationhood, 1 that wants things to remain as is, and another group that does not seem to care. And that as long as he nationhood and statehood groups each represent less than 50% of the population, there will not be any change.
