There was a guide and he handed out headsets so that we could hear what he was saying via lo-power wifi as we wandered around, with the other 12.000 tourists that day. Anyway, I got distracted and lost the group in a mob of, maybe, Albanians. My only hope---cause I did not know how to get back to the hotel---was to find the group. Sure enough, by twisting and turning my head, I could get scraps of signal from the guide. Anyway I faced with a stronger signal, that's the way I went. Don't envy trying to get around without Japanese. though. No Plan B? GPS? Service animal? A length of string?
