	6:12am Nate K.: Fred, it was a small show in a record store, so it was all acoustic, but still pretty amazing. He's the first person I've ever asked to sign a record.
	6:15am fred: I'm not surprised, I saw him go acoustic for parts of his shows, solo or with a drummer, and he was amazing. He didn't do that the last time I saw him and I was disappointed (I'm spoiled)

I wonder if it's because I was alive in the earlier 60s & Beach Boys resonate some very foundational level - & she weren't...

FOR REAL THIS TIME! With a mind-boggling combination of talent and a rock-and-roll pedigree that will leave your jaw on the floor, the members of the Hard Quartet likely need no introduction. But for the sake of due diligence, the band features Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, etc.), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, etc.), Jim White (The Dirty Three, etc.), and Emmet Kelly (Will Oldham, Ty Segall, etc.). We think that's all the info you need. They deliver a short set for BURN IT DOWN! on Friday, November 8.
